WoW Priest Guide
Hey, MikemanX here,
If you’re looking for a WoW Priest Guide to figure out the best way to go about leveling a priest, you’ve ome to the right place. This is something which I struggled with for some time, and through a lot of research and trial and error, I have found a priest leveling build that works pretty well. I’ll be sharing all that with you in the WoW Priest Guide below…

Now what I’ve found is that it’s best to go down the Holy talent tree, at least until level 49, at that point Shadow really comes into it’s own and you should re-spec:
Levels 10-49 (7/27/3)
Shadow Talent Tree
Spirit Tap 3/3
Discipline Talent Tree
Twin Disciplines 5/5
Martyrdom 2/2
Holy Talent Tree
Healing Focus 2/2
Improved Renew 3/3
Holy Specialization 5/5
Divine Fury 5/5
Desperate Prayer 1/1
Holy Reach 2/2
Searing Light 2/2
Spiritual Guidance 5/5
Surge of Light 2/2
Levels 50-80 (Re-Spec Shadow)
Shadow Talent Distribution
Spirit Tap 3/3
Improved Spirit Tap 2/2
Improved Shadow Word: Pain 2/2
Shadow Focus 3/3
Improved Psychic Scream 2/2
Improved Mind Blast 2/5
Mind Flay 1/1
Shadow Reach 2/2
Shadow Weaving 3/3
Silence 1/1
Vampiric Embrace 1/1
Focused Mind 3/3
Mind Meld 2/2
Improved Devouring Plague 3/3
Shadowform 1/1
Shadow Power 2/5
That pretty much covers where your talent points are going to be distributed, but as far as what your spell rotation is going to be like, here’s what it will look like when spec’d Holy:
Smite > Mind Blast > Shadow Word: Pain > Power Word: Shield > Devouring Plague
Once you re-spec to shadow, this is more of what you’ll be doing:
Power Word: Shield > Vampiric Touch > Mind Blast > Vampiric Embrace > Shadow Word: Pain > Devouring Plague > Mind Flay
Now despite me having researched all this, things didn’t work out as planned when I tried to implement it. I was going along fine until about level 15-20 when I realized something wasn’t quite right…
I was leveling up SOooo damn slow!
I couldn’t believe it, it was frustrating! Here I had spent all these hours coming up with this WoW Priest Guide and it was not helping me level up at a fast rate at all. So I decided to talk to one of my guldies who has power leveled a priest before. He mentioned to me that the way he was able to level so quickly was through the use of a WoW Priest Guide and that it was called the Team iDemise Leveling Guide. Not knowing what that was, I decided to look it up…

After hearing about this WoW Priest Guide, I had thought it to be just a written PDF file document, however what I found out was that this was actually an in-game add-on. What it did was place a giant green arrow in front of your priest which pointed you to quests to pick up, monsters to kill and where to turn the quests in. It continuously points you in the direction of the most optimum leveling path, you just have to follow it and do what is mentioned.
You also see a dialogue box which gives you the written instructions for the sequence of quests, so you may see:
Kill 10 Spore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (53,23)
Obtain 8 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (14,34)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok
Now this all helped me to level up significantly faster, however it wasn’t without it’s faults…here were a few issues I had:
CONS:
- They at one point had an HTML version of the guide so you could see it outside of the game. I found this useful, however they have since removed it.
- It would be good to see more videos of how to do the most difficult quests in the game, also, more class specific leveling advice would be good.
PROS:
- There is a map mod that comes with this that shows you visually on your mini-map what you are to do next. This works well in combination with the written dialogue box.
- You also have the giant green arrow which points you to your next destination, it takes a lot of the thinking out of the leveling process.
- You won’t get in trouble for using this since it’s not a hack or cheat.
- You can not only use this as a WoW Priest Guide, but as a guide for any other class.
- You gain access to a members only forum as well as lifetime upgrades to the software.
- You get a 60 day money back guarantee.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re still struggling with leveling a priest, or you just want to avoid the headache all together, this is a WoW Priest Guide you’ll want to look into.
I’ve been using it as a WoW Priest Guide as well as a guide for my other classes and leveled 7 characters up to level 80 thus far. Each time, it hasn’t taken any longer than 10 in-game days. It’s saved me tons of time and let me play around with all of the other classes, something I wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise…
